Hi All,
I'll be over in Poulsbo next weekend and was wondering if there's been any action over there recently. I'll actually be more near the part gamble area. I don't fish the salt much but with this year being a Pink year I thought I might as well bring the rod. Worth it??
Thanks!

Absolutley worth it. Pinks are just starting to show up and at Point-no-Point (15-20min from Port Gamble) the Coho action has been great. Plent of SRCs at the county park just north of the hood canal bridge as well. 6wt should cover all of your needs.

Thanks Robast! I probably sound like one of thise guys that asks: "I'm going to montana, should I bring a rod?" Thanks for the advice! :)

I agree with robast. Salsbury Point County Park just north of the bridge is a great SRC spot, one of my favorites. Point-no-Point is also a hot salmon spot. Not sure if the pinks are running strong yet, although I was kayaking Hood Canal a few weeks ago and saw some small salmon, probably pinks, jumping around just south of Bangor.
