So... I found this on Ebay.. seems like a pretty good deal....

That pix looks suspicious, polar bear skin is black, not tan. It's black to maximize warming of the skin when it's exposed to daylight. I'd steer clear of that piece.

Polar bear skin is black, or at least very dark, on the HAIR side. The skin side may be anything from white to dark tan, depending how the hide has been treated.

I would however be suspicious of the piece shown. The brown/yellow cast is not common in Polar bear hair, and would also prevent it dyeing up brightly.

It could still be Polar bear though, and just dirty, or the cast is the result of poor pictures.
