Good Pontoon section on Yakima?

I'm thinking of heading over to the Yak this weekend with my pontoon, but have never taken it down the Yakima. Are there any sections anyone could recommend as having good fishing, but also managable to float in 6ish hours? Anyone care to join me and we can run our own shuttle? Thanks in advance.

Ringer to big pine is a decent float. Easy and there are fish under the brush dry hoppers and green drakes. And all the tailouts a double rig stone fly and prince nymph. Or somthing similar.

Ringer to Big Pine will be a loooong float as low and slow as the water is now. Probably better to pick a short section and take advantage of the low water to get out and target rising fish here and there, rather than have to be pushing all day to reach the take out.

Red's to Lmuma (probably too short)

talk to Red's and they can provide you a shuttle and steer you to the least crowd area of the river. Red's is the fly shop about 15 miles down the canyon. That float from Red's to Lmuma can be fun but I think the stretches up the canyon may have more gravel bars that are good for a rig that can't anchor. Assuming you aren't anchoring out in your toon?

Good rule of thumb is that, in the canyon, river speed = flow/1000. Right now, flow is ~1200 cfs, so when you're drifting, you'll probably be moving along ~1.2 mph. This ain't hard and fast, but it will give you an idea.
