View Full Version : Looking for Waterwisp hooks...

Does anyone know where I might find a supplier of waterwisp hooks of various sizes? The flyshop I usually shop at doesn't even know what they are. (The eye of the hook is vertical rather than horizontal.) I want to experiment with creating some flies that are tied on such a hook. The only thing I know is that they're made by Daichi. :confused:

I haven't heard good things about flies tied with Waterwisp hooks. What I've heard are no hookups because of the hook bending up instead of down. I've heard this through some similar research I was doing looking for better performance and that led me to the Umbrella hook. You can find them at:
