What is the best diameter and material for wire when making dubbing brushes with a machine? Where can it be purchased?

IMO - the best wire to use is Stainless Steel wire - the trick is to find annealed wire, so that it will twist on itself and lock together (not break).

We have Stainless Steel 0.005 annealed wire in #5LB or single spools, depending on how much you need.

iagree

I've used the stainless Kristin mentions ... it works great and is the "only" wire to use for saltwater applications.

I do still occasionally use copper wire in the size known as "small" ... when I can't find my little spool of stainless wire ... it's a bit bigger in diameter than the stainless wire but still small enough.
