Yes I do, Fred. That has my cat absolutely pegged. Every morning at 0528 (the alarm goes off at 0530). I have taken to keeping a bag of cat treats on the night stand to buy him off if I want to sleep in. The clown will even pull the covers off my head if I bury my head and try to ignore him.

That'd be a dead cat in my house.

I guess it's really not so much of an inconvenience since my bodily functions are also attuned to the alarm clock.

Had to laugh at that one; do a similar thing (not the 0530 bit though!). Problem is I also have a Yellow Lab (Sandy) who takes his clues from the cat ....:hmmm:
get up at 5am everyday, way before the 2 cats or lab, once they know someone is awake they seem to appear out of nowhere looking for a morning feeding.

Pavlov would have considered me his poster child.
