I can't wait. Actually, I do sit out the first week and typically go the the second week after the intial onslaught.
I plan to hit Lenice for a few days, dragging buggers in the morning and a hare's ear/bloodworm combo in the afternoon.

Where will you be??

My buddy said that Fazon Lake up here in the Bellingham area opens back up on Jan 17th. Time for some bluegill and LM bass :D

It's open year around. You just can't fish from any floating device from the 1st of Oct until the 15th of Jan the following year.

This is what I gleaned out of the regs.

Jim

P.S. I now have a copy of the regs so you all can look out for more usless info.bawling:bawling:

Yeah, that's kind of what I was referring to. Fazon has little or no shore access - especially for fly fishers.

Anybody else find the early fishing pretty spotty? I'm with you on the jonesin' to get out there, but I don't have to be convinced to hard to wait for some warmer weather either...

I'm going to head out right now to Squalicum Lake here in Bellingham to try out my GPX line and some of my dry creations. I can't wait any longer! Hopefully my nuts don't fall off..
