GP center tails are the required material for the wing of Roderick Haig-Brown's Silver Brown. Designed as a cutthroat or coho fry imitation, it's an excellent choice for summer steelhead, sea-run cutthroat and even river coho.

The wing is two slips of GP pheasant tail enclosing a few strands of orange polar bear (or substitute) hair.

It is also used for the tail and wing on the Grimersta Muddler. Body is copper tinsel with copper wire rib, red game hackle and standard natural deer hair head.
