American Lake

Just was wondering if anyone has fished the American lake in Lakewood. or other lakes nearby. Was thinking of trying to fish these lakes now that its winter. Anyone have fished these lakes in the winter?

I was going to go yesterday but honey doo's got me. American Lake is good this time of year. Spencer lake was fun last night;)

Where is spencer lake? And how do you fish at night?:confused:.

Spencer Lake is near Shelton. It is 5 minutes from my house and has some holdovers that respond better as evening comes on. American Lake used to be on my commute home, so I would use my 'toon or float tube near the access.

There are fish there. You can catch them, but only if you have a line in the water with a hook attached to the end of it.

Yes there are fish in there, like any other lake, not quite as active in the winter. Go give it a shot, another nearby lake is spanaway lake, give that a shot as well.
