Went to the club today with a friend. This is the aftermath. I shot 2 ringnecks and 2 greenheads. Gave one duck to a friend for his dinner. These will be BBQ'd with bacon wrappers and terriyaki suace.

Interesting looking rooster there on the right...that'll be a mighty fine feast.
It'd go even better with a couple Buds, but hey- to each their own, eh? Nice.

Every now and then the club puts out a few exotic pheasants. On past hunts, if you shot one you earned a free lunch in the diner. Not so lucky today. Nothing was free.

Very nice!!

I've shot a few black/greenish roosters in eastern washington. I'm sure they were released at one time, but the couple that I've shot seemed pretty wild and weren't banded. A couple years ago I shot a really nice one and had him mounted with a even nicer regular ringneck as if they were flushing together.

Nice birds there.
A friend of mine used to raise pheasants and one year he ended up with a bunch of green birds.
He kept the linage going for a couple of years.
The green hens were very pretty also.

Looks like some nice tying material to me. I'd love some phesant that color.

Didn't even think about the feathers. If I get another by the end of February, I'll strip off the feathers for you.
