I am thinking of heading over to Lone Lake on Sunday. Anyone care to join me? I figured we could try twice as many fly options in hopes of finding something that works.
PM if interested.

I'm thinking Lone or possibly head east to Rocky on Sunday - I need a fix.
If I am at Lone, I will be in my livingston w/trolling motor. No need to get in the water....
thanks-dp

Dave,
I will be in a green pontoon, and my brother may join me in a (brrrr) float tube. FREAK!
We'll have a cooler with beer and a thermos with Hot toddie's, so whether catching fish or not, we'll have a good trip.
Hope to see you there.

You guys are true die-hards!! :beer2: To quote an old song " Looks like we're in for nasty weather..." It's going to be awful the next few days.
The thrill of the take has to be driving you mad! Good luck!!!:thumb:

if the weather isn't downright fierce, i'm gonna be there floating on a green fish cat driving a mud covered ranger.

Did anyone make it out this past Sunday? I thought I may have spotted Dave in his Livingston.?. Anyway, I made a few casts with my 10 year-old daughter off the dock and hooked into one nice fish using a chronomid - it broke my tippet just below the know where I had added it on.
I had set the rod down to assist Josie when the indicator disappeared :) As soon as I got to the rod and strip-set, well, maybe there wasn't as much slack line as I thought and I stripped too hard for the 5x
Pretty slow in the shallow end. Hope others faired better than we did between the hour of 4:30 - 5:30 PM!
Jeff
