I've got one of the predecessors to the WaterMaster called a Float and Tote. I'm not a fan of the oarlock system and I was wondering if anyone here has had experience changing it out for something else. I'll try to get fotos out, but the general principal is that it uses the old screw in style Zodiac style oar lock system. If I can't info on how to change it out, at least a pointer to some brass or aluminum oarlocks would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting pretty tired of breaking the plastic ones and I'm scared it's going to happen in some heavy water soon.

I changed the oarlocks on one of my inflatable tenders and found the people at Ballard Inflatables very helpful. You will need to talk to one of the service people. http://www.ballardinflatables.com/
The change-over requires the use of a heat gun to soften the adhesive, then pull the old locks off. After some cleaning and prep. work you are ready to install the new locks. It's pretty easy.
