what do you guys use to keep stick on eyes onto wool? cause just sticking them on only last about 1/2 dozen casts or so.

I had some sculpins with hot glue eyes on a wool head. They were colored black with probably a sharpie. They stayed on for a long time.
The stickers just fall off. I have been putting a thin layer of clear epoxy on some poppers that I put eyes on.

Goop! The stuff is amazing. I tied probably fifteen different glues when I started tying Enrico Puglisi flies and Goop works by far the best.

Mike,
I use 5min E-Z Poxy. I take a small plastic craft brush(paint brush) and brush a small amount around the topside edge of the eye. I then place a full drop of E-Z Poxy on the desired spot. Place the eye on the drop and you are done. The coating on the top side cures with the underside and prevents the eye from "flaking" off. I have just started using 3D dolls eyes with the posts. More info later on how they work post field tests.

Back in the day when I played tennis, GOOP worked the best to fill in the holes on the toe part of my tennis shoes, as they wear away the quickest while serving, and since I couldn't afford new shoes every couple of months. I have also used them to reseal the inside sole part of my wading boots. Works like a charm. I only thought they had this one product and it was a white tube that I would find at sporting good stores, the last time I picked one up. I just googled it and found their webpage and it seems they have many more alternatives nowadays.

Yeah. Goop for sure. You can find Marine Goop which is pretty waterproof at home depot in the adhesives section. Use a toothpick to transer the goop to the back of hard eyes, and just do your best to position some where you want to stick mylar eyes and press the eye on. Stinks. Takes time to dry, but very strong.
Marine Goop works the best to cover abrasionson on pontoon fabric also. Nothing else I tried would stick for long but Marine goop seems to last forevever.

I use simple Krazy glue with good results. I had a bottle laying around for foam flies and gave it a shot and I'm more than happy with the results.

I just use super glue. Not sure how it would affix to wool.

I use lead eyes, sculpins are aways within 3 inches of the bottom naturally ;) (nothing wrong with superglue or even thick loon hard head)
