Dog related, please help Chocolate

This story broke my heart. I hope he finds a great home. I gave $50 towards an estimated $10,000 vet bill. He reminds me so much of my own lab. Even with two broken legs, he still craves attention and greets people with a toy in his mouth.

There has been an outpouring of support from across the nation. The last count I heard was that over $11,000 has been raised from people in states as far away as Maine. The national Chessie breed club even gave a large donation for his continued care.

He had his first surgery over the weekend and his outlook is favorable at this point.
