Loose connection

Hello,
I have a older graphite 2 piece rod not expensive but a good back up rod that I still like. The connection is a bit loose and I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to tighten it up?

I should expand on just "wax". You can use canning wax or candle wax to coat the male ferrule. This should eliminate the problem if it isn't too bad. If it does not do enough you might consider having a rod repair done. What will happen is the rod will be cut back on the male ferrule just a tad to make the connection tight again. Don't do this yourself as too much can't be fixed.

Thanks for the help guys. It is not to bad so I will try some wax, it sounds like it should do the trick.
