Hey I have a couple of partridge skins available for sale. They are wild birds shot here in Idaho. I normally sell them back east however I have a few extra. I can send pictures to those who are interested. I live in Lewiston, ID and can ship in the northwest for three dollars a skin. The skins are $12 for the lesser ones and $15 for the better.

Isnt this illegal?
Hooker,
No it isn't illegal. Skins or feathers from upland game birds and waterfowl that have been taken by legal means during a legal hunting season can be sold for use in manufacturing fishing flies and lures.

I stretch them, peel the fat, and then borax them. They usually turn out great.

Put them on the classified section, you might want to lower the price by a dollar or two unless they are first class.

Chkrrdg,
Where do you usually sell your skins?

As I understand it, actually it is not illegal due to the fact that HP are NOT listed as migratory birds.
However, the feathers or parts of american woodcock, morning doves, rails, coots or other non-webbed footed migratory birds are illegal.
