Wrapping Ferrules

Wondering if anyone has some rules for wrapping ferrules. I have a 4 piece rod where each ferrule is about 1.5 inches deep. Do I have to wrap 1.5 inches or is there some generally accepted and/or min wrap width.

I also asked Dan Craft as it is one of his blanks I am building and he recommended 2x the female ferrule for a 4 wt ft blank.

On a separate note, what amazing customer service! I got an email back in about 30 minutes!

not to hijack the thread, but I also e-mailed Dan at Dancraft about 11:00pm last night. Checked my e-mail at 7:00 this morning and already had a reply.
