I just got a 11' older sun runner hypalon raft and would like to hear anyone's thoughts on preventative maintenance. I have heard of a waterproofing liquid that you can get to "rewaterproof" it. It has a couple patches from running whitewater on the Deschuttes, but seems to hold air fine. Have never owned a raft so any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
If possible, store it indoors and partially blown up to avoid pinholes at crease points. UV is a killer. NRS has some good products:

Curtis,
Call Dana at Swiftwater. I'll bet he'll have some suggestions for you. His shop is closed on Wednesdays.

get some 303 protectant and coat your raft with it. it will help with the uv light.

Thanks for the info!! I am going to try it out this weekend on the Yakima. See if it worth investing $$ into. If you see a guy and a gal in a blue raft, say hi.

If you only see a gal or a guy in a blue raft, stop and help!
