Sneak peak on the spey this swap.

Hook: 3/0 A.J.
Tip: fine oval tinsel
Tag: hot pink silk floss
Tail: G.P. crest topped by a crow substitute
Body: light pink, hot pink and hot orange seal with a dyed pink gadwall flank feather started at the 2 turn of rib.
Rib: Flat clear Mylar followed by silver oval tinsel.
Collar: orange hackle and dyed pink guinea
Wing: 4 hot orange hackle tips

That is a beautiful fly. When I upgrade my vise, I would like to try tying a spey fly. It looks pretty difficult.

BEAUTIFUL fly!!!! Speys aren't that hard to tie, the more you practice, the better you'll get. The standard spey wings are a bit trickier, but I like the hackle tip wings personally. Marty truly made a gorgeous fly though, perfect. Plus it's SOOOOOOOOOOO fishable.
