I have dedicated a whole room for fly fishing. I got the desk for free, some lady was selling it for $100 but couldn't move it out of her house, so she sawed the damn legs off with a chain saw!!!"!??!!!! She told me I could take it, so I did a little repair and Voila! 100 year old vintage solid oak roll top fly tying desk!

Did you make the rod/rod tube holder in the corner? That looks like exactly what I need. Can you post a more detailed photo? If you bought it, where? Thanks.

This is mine for now. I'm transferring in two months, and my new house will have slat board walls for materials, and a proper oak table and shelves my grandfather is building me right now. This table has served me well for the last ten years. I built it myself in my living room in Kodiak with wood screws, and there's not many right angles on it, and it leans a bit....

I used to have three times as many materials, but as I've gotten more specific in my tying over the last four or five years, my materials have too. I haven't bought a saddle patch, dubbing or elk hair since maybe 2002.
