I have been building Irresistables and other spun hair patterns of late and am running through my supply of caribou hair at a rapid rate. I'd like to get a couple of sizeable pieces of caribou hide from a couple of age groups with autumn-winter hair. Anyone know of a good source?

Thanks

Steve Cole

How much do you want? I've got two very large pieces at home I'd be willing to part with. I'll take pics, and post them when I get home later this evening.

I've bought alot of bulk fur at the Alaska Fur Exchange in Anchorage. I've got carabou, wolf, bobcat, beaver, fox, moose, sheep....all in large pieces.

Jeff...

Appreciate it! I could use a 12" X 12" swatch if you have it to spare. Let me know what you need for it... I could either do $$ or swap you for some other materials?

Sorry worked late last night, and had to be at work early this morning, so I didn't get pics. I'm at work now, and promise I'll get pics tonight when I get home. I think I've got two or three pieces of caribou. One may be a full 12x12, but if not, the two together for sure are.

I'm thinking $25 shippped. $20 for the caribou, $5 for the shipping. $27 if we do PayPal so I don't eat it on their fees!

This is super thick hair, with everything from white to tan to brown, and the skin is super supple, and very well tanned.

Is $25 too much? I payed $17 for the hair back in '01 or '02. Priority mail envelope is amost $5.
