Tieing vise.
Hooks: Size 12, 14, 16 - 2xshort
Threads: 8/0 black, red, olive
Beads: white, gold, or gunmetal. 3/32"
White poly yarn if no white bead
Fine wire - gold, silver, copper, red
Flashabou - red, black, silver
Superfloss - black, olive, brown

With those things, you can tie tons of different effective chironomids. Is that what you were looking for?
