Line Recomendation
Hi guys.
I've just finished building a Rainshadow 10'8" 8 weight switch rod. I used it for the first time yesterday with a #8 Forty plus line and I thought it was a little bit light for the rod using a spey cast and snapT but found it o.k.overhead casting.
I was wondering if anyone on the forum fishes with said rod, if so what line do you use?
I don't wish to go down the scagit route, would much prefer to use Shooting heads or lines like the Forty Plus
Thanks in advance

Re: Line Recomendation
Hey - Ron just helped another customer build that switch rod. They lined it with an Airflo Compact Scandi 390gr. Remove 2' from the back and it should be around 365-370gr.
Matches up pretty well!
