Just so people don't have to dig through the other post, Sat. Jan 15th is the date. People are welcome to show up anytime after 10AM. Kickoff is noon. Bring fishing movies, and I'll drag a big TV over.

On the subject of food. I'd like to see everyone's A game. Old family recipes, your own creation, stolen recipes, maybe you have Mario Batali locked up in your basement. Whatever. But let's try and go all out and lay out an epic meal. That being said, if you suck at cooking, or are low on cash, come anyway. Bring what you can, and have a good time.

Please post in here if you are coming, how many you are bringing, what food you are bringing, and what movies you are bringing. Evan is bringing at least 5 gal of homebrew, but I'd recommend bringing some of your own as well. I'm renting the clubhouse, and buying a TON of chicken to guarantee that there is enough main dish type food for everyone. I'm not going to make it mandatory, but if folks feel like tossing a few sweaty, crumpled bills in a jar to offset that and Evan's brewmiestery, that'd be spiffy.

View attachment 37144 I'm looking forward to meeting many of you for the first time and I'm sure the rest of you are also wanting to put faces to names too. I started some time ago making lanyards for people now and then. They've been listed in the classified column and I've sold some to people who had special needs or just wanted to try something different to carry their gear. There are many ways to make them and they are fun to work with. When We're at the BBQ I'll have my materials there so if any one wants to see them they may. Thanks for looking!!!!

Thinking of taking the motorhome down from Edmonds. Stay overnight Saturday and come home Sunday. If I can find a couple of guys to ride along and split the gas.
Of course, the up side of riding in the MH is as long as your not sitting up front, you can drink!!!
I have 4 beds. 1 is mine. Bitterroot might take one. that leaves 2 beds. I can take more of course. But you will have to crash somewhere else.
Send a pm if interested.

I think I parted the sea of work and have the weekend off. Would love to come if the invitation still stands!
Love to cook anything pork, beef, chicken, or seafood related and brew my own brew...
Let me know if dogs are welcome too...
Coming from Ballard Seattle, I would have no problem car pooling with someone else.

Thanks fellas,
Erik

Sorry mister O-Rad. Work schedule isn't looking good. I'll let you know if things change. Want to party and talk fishing with you guys, but can't set a solid schedule right now, getting ready to start a huge project.

I have my request in for the day (night in my case) off to attend this event. Don't know exactly what I'll bring, but it will be Pan-Asian. Maybe a 5-spice duck and something else, like Pork Adobo and Pancit. Ill have to see what's fresh in the market. Oh, and a big bottle of Sake.

Far out! The Boss posted the new schedule and moved a couple of shifts around to enable me to participate. Sooo, kissing up and genuflecting really DOES work. Next we'll see about the Hoh Down and a Dry Falls trip to coincide with the Ellensburg FFF show. Maybe bribery and an invitation for him to come along(he fly fishes and hunts in Montana)....

How many of you guys are going to bring your wives/girlfriends along? Mine doesn't want to attend if there are just a bunch of "rude, belching, smoking, drunk, FISHERMEN there. There should be at least someone else that has a brain and converses in something more than grunts." I think she was kidding, I think. Anyways I'm NOT rude.

I wouldn't expect any wives or GFs to attend unless they are already thoroughly conditioned and habituated to hanging out with groups of guys who have nothing to say that interests them, which is why many women interpret guy communication as a series of unintelligible grunts. I don't plan to say anything that would be of interest to my wife. If your wife finds what I have to say interesting, you should take her to higher class places.
