Great Mike will be perfect. The hardest part of rod making is getting started. Best regards and have fun.

Thanks Ray. Mike Monsos of Monsos Rods of Redmond agreed to walk me through the process. Hopefully he's prepared to deal with a total newbe. I'm intrigued by the challenge. Let's hope I can sustain the energy when the going gets tough. Sounds like quite the task based on the books and postings I've read. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Your welcome and I'd be happy to assist in any way I can. I'm also interested on whom you found to help. I've worked with a couple new makers on their first rods and the process was very gratifying. It also helped me re-think my rod building process.
Good luck in your journey, rod making is very gratifying.
