Did you receive my flies? They were sent last Monday. Hate to start over again.
Wayne, yup, they're here. They must have come in one of the days I was up with Grampa and VEE just dropped them in the box. Nicely done.
Your two-fer flies arrived today. Very nice.
I mailed my bugs off today you should have them no later than Friday. Looking forward to seeing this months goodies.
Great Jesse. Looking forward to seeing your flies.
A nice set of flies arrived from Tom Grobelny today. My mailbox is smiling.
Awesome. I just mailed them yesterday! I'm looking forward to getting this month's flies.
Tom, Your gonna like what you see. Not only will this expand folks' tying horizons, it may expand a few fishing horizons too.
Randy Diefert's offerings arrived today. Yup, you guessed it. Randy found a way to use Liquid Lace in a terrestrial.
Two sets of flies arrived today from Theron D and Jesse James. Hopefully the last will arrive before I shoot the pics on Saturday.
D*&%it. Took em to work today, then spaced having the receptionist send em.
I'm going to run over to the UPS place right now.
I'm running a little behind. Got called away to ceremony and just got back. Ed D, yourflies arrived by UPS today. Almost missed them, as they were left hanging on my fence.
I'll be shooting pictures of flies in the morning and shipping in the afternoon.
Sorry for the delay. Things are happening a bit eartly this year.
Also, Matt sent me an e-mail letting me know about some problems he's having. He said he'd like to skip this month and to a two-fer next month. To be honest, I suggested he drop out of the swap to reduce some of the stress in his life for the time being. Either way, the final decision is up to him and I'll try to keep you posted.
The pics are up and the flies are in the mail. Sorry about the delay.
Got the flies today. Very well done by everyone. Shad's spider is awesome.
The first of the cripple/emergers have arrived. That honor goes to Desmond Wiles.
woo-hoo! I won't let it go to my head though, it was a simple pattern to tie, yet very affective. Plus, I've two fishing trips planned early next month, so I wanted to get this off my plate so I can get go'n on some other flies I'm short on.
I know the feeling,
With two of these swaps to tie for, plus the 20 and under swap, it seems like that's all I have time for. By the time I get around to tying for myself, I just can't get started.
I'm a running behind, and it doesn't look like I'm going to get a dozen done. :beathead:
Of course, I say that knowing full well in another few days my head's going to be so full of work I'll have to start tying again. :beer2:
It's a real nice midge cripple if I do say so myself. :thumb:
Shad, I was going to send out an e-mail, but here goes. I'm gonna be at a fly fishing function from the 1st to the 5th of May. That means I won't be home until the 6th to do the sort, pic, ship thing. You get almost an extra week, and I get to fish the Yak (which is something I sorely need to do). So, If your flies don't get here until the 6th, no sweat.
I sent my flies out this morning. I have never tied cripplers or emergers, so I hope my fly works for everyone.
