Fished the incoming tide today for a few hours, hit three diffrent beaches in MA 13 and 11. And got my butt kicked by my girlfriend with her catching three small SRC's and me catching nothing but salad on my flys. And for icing on the cake this was only her third time fishing the salt and still less than 10th time to ever fish.

You've got your baby wearing waders. Let that be enough.

That's absolutely fantastic...your woman caught fish, now she'll want to go again, that's been my battle. I can't seem to get my gal into fish, and she sees me catch fish, then it's all over, "this is no fun". Well good on you!!

I'm really glad you and your lady had a great day on the water. She looks real happy and darn proud, too.

I fished area 13 yesterday morning. Saw plenty of fish, couldn't get them to take anything though

Check the F&W Fishing regs. MA is Marine Area. There are maps defining the boundaries and associated seasons and limits by area in the regs. Sometimes its tough trying to figure out abrev. like LDR, SDR, SRC, ho, STH, etc. Took me a while to catch on.

Let me see if I got this straight. You fished two different marine areas, three beaches in a six hour period, and you caught nothing but lettuce and your girlfriend, who looks remarkably like Natalie Portman, not only stuck with your lousy, indecisive, skill-lacking butt on your largely fruitless excursion but caught three fish...

That girl must see something good in you.

Eric, for the sweet love of god, get on your knees and propose to this girl ASAP. The collective wisdom of WFF will no doubt back you up on this. Girls who are a natural at flyfishing are few and far between. If you don't some wiseacre like Matney or Beauchamp will...
