This is a cool old book, The Complete Angler or The Contemplative Man's Recreation of Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton Edited by John Major, from the fourth London edition. Published by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co.
418 pages Red hard bound cover and back with Gold Guilt Leather spine.

It's in good condition for a book a kajillion years old :) Inscribed on the inside cover:

    Dear Harold,
How you've been able to fish and so forth without this book as guide I don't know; Read it carefully and the fish will never more elude you________________

    Bob

It is full of real cool things from the 1600's up to the mid 1800's when it was printed. There are some worn edges, a small split in the leather spine, and the first three pages are worn at the spine area and need to be opened carefully, the pages are slightly yellowed from age. Other than that it's great.

PM me or post your wishes should someone want it for their collection. I"m thinking $80 will get it shipped directly to you wherever you live. (Even strange places like Montana;))

    Later, K
