2 hooks?

    is it legal to have 2 hooks on one fly(bucktail) when fishing for salmon at neah bay and or sekiu? mike w

    On pg. 96 of the fishing regs, it says about hook and line angling- "Unless noted differently, only one line with up to 2 hooks is allowed." And Neah Bay being in Area 4, and Sekiu in Area 5 (like me) I didn't see any specific limitations mentioned on their respective pages.

    I could be missing something, so you might want to check it yourself to be sure.

    yes, it is legal.... but you will damage more fish with a two hook rig than a single hook. in my experience a two hook rig will result in releasing more bleeding (and likely dead) fish.
