    Hi over there!

I am looking for a crisp 2 wt, around 8` flyrod / blank.
    Any experiences?

    Good luck, Balazs

No actual experience. I am building a 7' 2wt. right now on a Rainshadow but it won't get wet for a little while.

You may want to post your question on www.rodbuilding.org. I can safely guess that you will get some good advice with a good percentage stearing you towards Dan Craft Enterprises in Oregon. DC has a lot of loyal rod builders there especially in the light rod area. He is sponsor there so you can leap right to his site.

If I were going to build the rod you are describing, I would buy a DC blank without looking anywhere else. The only question would be which blank to use.

    Good luck.

    Hi Jim!

You very right, I look around a bit more, but it seems I won`t find better than Dan Craft`s 8022.
    However, thank You very much,
    best regards, Balazs
