Up to you really how you want to sleep. I'm camping, but some have hotels. But we will hang around someone's campsite on the Oxbow. Probably be mine, no idea why. LOL.

Oh, and thanks for all the offers for help. We'll delegate duties when the time comes. :) We have a couple months to decide on what everyone would like. Do a chip in and I can do the master buyup of the food like last time. We can decide what to have for the big Saturday night feast. :)

I have stayed at Olympic Suites in Forks, and it is a great value. Several guys could crash is a suite for not much money.

Quick question on camping.... How secure is it when you take off fishing? I only tend to camp in the backcountry simply because road access festers too many nut cases. A few thousand vertical feet and a few miles tends to weed them out.

Where the heck have I been? No matter. I will be there. In my absence I have taken up homebrewing so I hope to have several gallons of good stuff to offer. Maybe I will even catch a fish

Matt, good to here from you. I thought maybe the skunking you received last year might have put you off of fishing all together.
Don't know when you are planning on heading out but if you come out early we can get in a day or two before Ed and Mark show up:thumb:

I've always got a good menu of homebrew available. Mayhaps I'll add some of my own creations to the mix if I make it out :thumb:

Ok, one way or another I am making this. I have, and will be, working so much overtime between now and about that time, and I think a trip like that will be just what the doctor ordered. I will try to put in for Thurs/Friday off this week, but if nothing else I'm definitely coming for the weekend. I'm down with chipping in money for food, or bringing whatever I'm assigned, or however I can help. I will bring my toon, and have access to another single man toon if someone would use it. Oh, I've never fly fished for steelhead... Just a warning. :)

Anybody got any miles they'd like to donate to my steelhead travel fund for this?

Sweet. Work & wife are both in line, so I'll be there the whole week and am rolling with Backyard.

I'll have a small generator for my camper and extra cord to power camp. I'll toss in a couple flood lights well. Bringing firewood, would suggest others bring a good bit of wood as well. Sounds like Matney will be there which will be good considering his tarp shanty is something else.

If I bring the toon atop the small utility trailer I'll fill it with wood. It won't hold much if we are trying to signal the next galaxy, but I'll be glad to contribute some.
