Another nice morning down on the South Sound, starting on the Gig Harbor side. Hit the outgoing tide by 9:30 and "blind" fished a beach for an hour or so yielding three or four of the little fellas on a chum baby. No surface activity besides these little guys. Highlight for me was spotting an adult and juvenile American Goldfinch (males) and a female hanging out in a tree on the beach waiting out the rain.

I then busted over to Case inlet and fished the tail end of the outgoing tide, picking up another dink and even a shiner perch. There was a big school of them working along the beach.

Still waiting for the first respectable fish of the year but loving the search!
