    It had to happen.

The success of the Helios rod has put the Zero Gravity on the bubble. We are selling all our Zero Gravity's for 50% off. Don't forget, two years ago it was the hottest flyrod on the market.

If you're looking for a bargain, see me at Orvis Bellevue,

    10223 NE 10th St
    (425) 452-9138

WOW! What a great deal! I have a Zero Gravity, in a 5 wt. nine foot 4 piece tip flex, and it's a deadly accurate rod! It will really lay out a long line, too. My friend Craig Koeppler, and he pops some bragging-sized distance casts with that rod. And, the hardware on that stick is about as nice as you can anywhere.

    If I didn't already have one . . . :thumb:

Leland, I saw you at Bellevue, you kept this secret from me at the time bawling:
Probably for the best, the misses would gut me for sure if I would have bought a Zero G! Good to see you today. I did not venture to your recommended location, I chose to wait over 2 hours in the ferry waiting line. I'm marking that spot on my map and will check it out soon. Thanks.

Almost couldn't believe the deal when I read it. Went to the bellevue store today and picked up their last 904 4. Excited to get on the water and put it through it's paces. Thanks

Just for reference, the new Orvis newsletter came in the mail a couple of days ago, and the Zero G's are only (!!) 30% off in the newsletter. Leland is doling out some nice deals . . .

The Zero G's full price is 655 - 675. You can get them online for 30% off or in the store for 50% off.

Leland, you are one post shy of a thousand. With several people commenting on how many post I have made I thought it might be good to bring your attention to your numbers. Maybe you can create new thread and give a nice disertaion of your favorite fishing experiences or something like that to mark your 1000th post!

That is it? Feeling old? Up three hours before dawn about every day to get to your water, gear up and show those fish a thing or two, then to the shop to deal with posers like me, or worse all day (but most of your customers are probably pretty cool, I'm in the minority) and your feeling old? Next time we meet it should be on the water or in a bar and I'll buy your old ass a beer!:beer2:

FYI: I'd probably buy just about anyone of age a beer if some fishing was involved, just not buying for everyone at one time.

Yes, you're right about me being on the water way before dawn then into the shop. Today was busy, as you can imagine, we sold a dozen Zero G's. One guy came in, saw that they were half price and bought two!

Had I known I would have been touching every rod in the store. I was on another mission that day though, had a meeting set up with Yellowlab. I had a fortuitous run in with Richard shortly after that, a trifecta of WFF Forum members for me that day. Had you told me of the deals I would have come home and found myself in a lot of hot water. That being said, I will be hoping that my next cash flow boost comes when some of those are still sitting in your shop taking up space. Got any big ones like for some Kings?

    Mumbles,

I have 9, 10, 11, & 12 wts. In fact, if anyone is thinking of doing some permit, dorado, roosterfish, albacore or tarpon fishing, now is the time to get a great rod.

No, we've got all trout, steelhead and Puget Sound weights.

I was just suggesting that this is a good time to get a rod at half price you don't need YET but will soon.

    Leland.
