Pitt River, Vancouver British Columbia

New Member
The Pitt River is a small remote river tucked away at the north end of Pitt Lake. This small river has a great run of sea-run Bull Trout that begins now through until late July with June being the best month. The past few years we have seen some great runs of Bull Trout return to this river and this season should be no exception.

We mostly toss larger streamer patterns that imitate small bait fish like Smelt. Fly's can be anywhere from 2 to 4 inches in length, with green, olive or black being best.

The best way to experience this river is using one of the local guides like STS Guiding Service. These guys have been fishing local waters for more than 20 years and will put you on the fish. You can keep an eye on what they are doing by watching their fishing report at http://www.guidebc.com

Hope to see you out there
