Faced with a tough situation, it has become apparent that I need to part with a few items and this unfortunately is one of them. I have an Elder 4 wt 7 ft Black Log Creek Bamboo sweetheart. All nickel hardware, agate stripper guide, burgundy wraps with clear finish, ivory ferrule plug, ring and cap reel seat. No nicks, chips or scars. Mint condition. In my opinion, there is no better dry fly bamboo, but this rod also holds its own for small stream nymphing. Builder, Curt Elder is one of the industries finest builders and has spent time working with builders in the class of Darryl Whitehead. Comes in 3 piece sock and galvanized tube with brass caps. Can send more pictures via email upon request.
Asking $650 ** Reduced from 750, tyd in the lower 48.

Yes sir, it is a 2 pc rod w/ 2 tips. I believe the weight is designated on the rod, but can't remember off of the top of my head what it is, but it's very light and very well balanced in the hand. Cork handle is mint as well and can post a picture of it this evening when I get home.
    Thank you for your interest.

Per request, here is a photo of the grip. The rod tube specifies the physical weight is 3 1/4 ounces.
    Thanks for looking.

Were there any upgrades to the rod? I finally found his website and he lists them for $785 retail? I've heard great things about Elder rods.

He may be selling them cheaper now that he's not building full time anymore. It's the standard Black Log Creek. It's a great rod to fish. I've even done some soft hackle swinging with it and it's soft enough in the tip to take a downstream hit, but has enough backbone to play them up. Very delicate with the dries and wets, yet holds its own with streamers as well. Fun rod to fish.
