Looking for a relatively inexpensive 7 piece 9 foot 3, 4 or 5 weight travel rod, similar to Cabelas Stowaway or Orvis Frequent Flyer, to fit in my m/c saddlebags. Planning a trip that will take me alongside some nice little streams. Ride, wet wade, ride some more, wet wade ..........
    cheers

Would you be up for borrowing one or do you just want to buy? I have a March Brown 6' 6" 7 Piece 3wt that is a sweet little stream rod. I'm not willing to sell but I'd lone it out for a bit. I know that's a huge risk but you could put down a deposit on it and if it breaks we could go from there.

I have something you might be interested in. I haven't built it up yet but could in a weeks time. It is a 8' 0" 3wt 6pc blank with an extension butt section to make it a 9'3" 3wt 7pc rod. Very light Dan Craft FTL blank and great fun to fish. PM me if you want to consider it.

I have a Redington Wayfarer 9' five weight, 6 piece rod, new in the tube. I know it's not 7 pieces, but it breaks down to a very compact size...

Thanks Denny. I'm taking up Mako's offer on the 3wt so I no longer need one. Many thanks to those who responded.
