Hey, thanks Patrick! Yep, the regs say no fishing from Beverly Camp up to the base of the falls. I take it the falls are close the De Roux? I've only fished below Beverly in the past and never on the other forks.
The site is Beautiful, has an outhouse and is almost always deserted. I haven't hiked up from the camp to the fishable area, but my guess is that it's pretty skinny water this time of year. If I were heading over that way I would try below the confluence of the forks, or even below Red Bridge Road.
Wolves! Good point BB. I may need to rethink my plans and camp a bit lower than Beverly. My girl won't appreciate the slightest hint of a wolf. I've seen one up close - scared the crap outta me!
Patrick, the fishing was good on the North fork just above the Teanaway river bridge last August. I'm not familiar with Red Bridge road.
Red bridge is the lower section that will have a bit more water, and better casting space. If you're with the wife and want to fish from Camp you can also take a look at Indian Camp on the Middle fork. You can fish up or down from the camp. There are several deep pools that require curtis creek style stalking and soft presentation.
The lower river is fishing as normal down to the hiway, But last time I was there they wouldn't let you on to hiway 10 so fishing in the area were the teanaway and yak come together wasn't a option . with all the people camping at the middle fork area you'll be hard pressed to see any wildlife much less a wolf
