I think the adipose fin is pretty clear in those photos. That rules out Cyprinidae, which includes the northern pikeminnow, and other minnows. It is strong evidence that it is a salmonid. I'll agree with lake whitefish.

Obviously someone photoshopped the adipose fins on the fish in the original photos.:D Good catch, I missed that one. It must be a whitefish.
