Keep an eye out Saturday morning if you are in Admirlty Inlet. This humpback came right in to shore and all I had was the cell phone camera...
This is the first Humpback I've seen in inside Point Wilson. Awesome!

I went on a whale watch cruise once and we had a Humpback whale directly under the boat, each fin stuck out on each side of the boat. A few minutes later it dove and then came up out of the water along side the boat and his head was level with the second deck. He was only about 5' sway from the boat. It was the coolest thing I ever saw.

Way to be at the right place at the right time Jeff! I've been pretty close to some Greys in Saratoga Passage, but have yet to see a Humpback.

Last time I saw Grays were off BI over ten years ago while on the ferry. Amazing sight and thanks for sharing. Do you have a good krill pattern to share as well, since the one guy hooked an Orca time to one-up right?

We saw a humpback off of the MV Coho in August
    Wonder if it's related
