Just wanted to post some rod porn for you guys. I built this rod last year but I have never really posted any of them on this site.

Your feather inlay work is amazing, Tyler. Someday I'll have to try one of those.

Tyler, your stuff is sick. I have drooled over the gallery on your site many times. Great stuff.
FYI, I haven't ordered my 3wt yet. I still can't settle on a blank. The RX7 is what I am leaning towards, but I am just concerned that I may not be happy with the quality (lightness, weight) since I am used to my TXL. I know that I want to get something with a little more power and length, but I am just not sure if I will be happy with the RX7. I wasn't a huge fan of the RX7 7wt that I built. Anyway, if you have any other suggestions shoot me a pm.
Again, you do some of the nicest work I have seen anyway.
    Thanks for posting!
    Later,
    Mike

One more thing. Do you tape off the edges of your epoxy or is that just time, care, and a steady hand that allows you to get those consistently beautiful and even epoxy edges?

Its my favorite blank under 100.00 bucks. You just can beat it for the price. I use this rod over some of my high end rods.

I built a 2pc 7'6" 3wt with a American Matrix blank and really like it! It's a bit fast, but casts well with the Sage Quiet Taper that I have for it and is fun to cast. Definitely a nice blank, especially for the price! :thumb:
