GR flies

That ugly skunk with no wing works very well. I tied it after reading Steelhead Fishing Nez Perce Country. It was an original tie for the area. I have used it for three years now. I did not tie the muddler....I only paid 50 cents for it.

All my retired flies are either bent, broken, or lost. With lost claiming the majority. I keep flies in service long after their "pull" date.

I'm retired and need something to do most of the time. Hence, flies that hook or land steelhead are retired so that I can tie more.
Good idea, Grayone. I'd consider washing, blow-drying, and primping these, then mounting them in a frame, perhaps with a photo or two of the rivers. Then tie new, improved(?) versions of the ones that worked.
