I'm thinking 10-11lbs. I didn't weigh it but that would be a close guess I think?
Eight pounds on the first telling. AND it was a stillwater lake in Idaho....so they grow slower there. I suspect it will take at least five more years of story telling to get to 10 pounds.

Today is the day to smoke that thing! I put it on the scale and it was 8 and a 1/2 lbs 28"clean'd out with head still on. So I would say close to 10lbs.

the "big fly, big fish" idea works some of the time while out fishing, my fly box can have 6 of the same smaller flies and nymphs, but not more than 2 if even that of the same type of streamer
