NFR Camera Repair inquiry

#1
Heyas,
I have an older Canon SD 900 point and shoot that has been a workhorse since 2008 when I bought it. The LED viewer has gone belly up, I believe because of some water getting into it.
Does anyone have a recommendation for repair locally (Seattle/Tacoma) or do I have to send it off to Canon. It is a solid little camera but starting to show its age.
I know I can just use the old school viewfinder but having the screen would be a plus.
Thanks in advance for any and all input :)

Given the advances in camera and sensor technology since 2008, I would encourage you to look into buying a new camera.

Of course, if money is an issue, that may not be useful advice.

I just bought a new DSLR and love it but this is my "thrash camera" for kayaking and climbing so it has been thru alot, I just like its feel so if i can prolong its life, then all the better :) Thanks for the input!
