    Body: Silver Tinsel
    Wing: Gray Squirrel over Yellow Bucktail

    Hook: Streamer Style
    Thread: Black & White
    Tail: Golden Pheasant Tippets
    Rib: Gold Tinsel
    Body: Orange Floss
    Wing: Gray Squirrel
    Hackle: Brown

    Tying note: Use white thread under floss bodies to help prevent the floss from darkening

    Very nice ties. The top one would probably be a great sea-run/coho fly.

    Another option to keep the floss bright is to lay down a flat tinsel body first. I read that was the method used by Sid Glasso.

    How do you like that book? I really want to get a copy but the montrous $400 price tag has held me back...

    forgotten flies is a good book but theres a lot of mistakes in it. i don't know who did the proof reading but he/she would be no longer working for me.
