Assult the one I have
Pacific fly fishers told me i need to spend atleast a grand to get a decent pontoon boat
that is about correct.
My scadden assult I got used for 900
There is a water master for sale the other day in the classifieds that was pretty decent priced
i have no idea about the fish cat and how well it works but i know my scadden assult is a beast and i love it
I've got a great toon with a lot of extras not doing me any good collecting dust in my garage. I got a great deal on it a little over a year ago and only used it twice. I'm in need of a karmic boost. Come check it out one night this week and ill let it go for what I paid for it (i believe under $300 ill check) plus i'm sure I could scrounge up a ridiculous box of flies and extra sink tips.
Sean, I am very moved by your generosity. However, due to my recent fly rod, reel, and line acquisitions I need to let my wallet cool down a bit ( including my wife). I am definitely interested, but unfortunately I will not be able to do anything soon. Also, I think I want to make some friends on here who also have pontoons so we I can have reliable options to share vehicles. I am more than happy to receive some pictures and a pm from you and I can keep you in mind. I will not be able to squeeze a pontoon boat purchase for the next few months if that. By that time I will have the holiday preparations to contend with too.
Untill then I want to research the shit out of pontoon boats. I want to be well educated before I make a purchase, and most importantly operate one.
Never mind, just assembled it and pumped it up for fun. Sweet hole in the bladder. Killer.
LOL No worries man. Hey does anyone have any good links to all the info I need about little pontoon boats. All I can seem to find is info on the really big ones, and not the small 8ft ones I am interested in.
NEVERMIND FOUND SOME INFO
After purchasing all these rods, reels, and line, how many fish have you caught? If you haven't caught as many as you'd like, do you think it's because you have the wrong rod?
Dude who really gives a shit. I will tell you this. Its not the catching part that makes me come back to the water again and again and again. Its a lot more than that to me. It is not the catching that has sustained my passion for fishing this past 20 years I have been fishing. ( yes I was a gear fisherman long before I started fly fishing). What has sustained my passion for fishing is the fact that I am able to for a little while get away from the world and shitty people. Especially those who like to be judgmental of others, even when your actions do not affect them at all. If you are just in it for the catching then I would imagine it would be very hard to stick to something like this.[/quote]
Did I ever say that I purchased some rods because I felt I had the wrong one? Give me a break.
I am sold on this pontoon boat stuff this is great. Is it legal to drink alcohol when you drift like that.
Maybe I should have asked how many times you've fished. I think some people might be wondering if accumulating gear is the priority over fishing the gear.
Maybe I'm a little off today. I got home yesterday at 11pm then was up to put more miles on my wading boots at 5am today. Maybe add a couple of tall boys when everything's put away and, well, you know.
Dude you are really dedicated. I hope you hooked something.
I think it is a requirement during summer months. Bad etiquette not to have at least an 18 pack in a cooler while floating.
What if I told you guys that Danielocean was actually Salmo_g?
Our dear sarcastic friend Jesse is making a comparison between Salmo_G, one of the most knowledgeable members on this board, to you, Danielocean, a knowledge thirsty, shirt-tugging-as-if-you-were-a-child-at-the-candy-store-begging-for-everything-you-see...newbie.
Wow is there an emoticon for flipping people off.
