Just got word I am off this weekend. I will be out there.
velocity is ballin.
When the rod goes up, I'll be sure to let you know.
Good pick up line
I want in on this thread. Evan you are gonna love that Velocity, in fact i predict you fully commit to lamson reels like i did. Did you get the nickel or hard allox?
Finaly got my new skagit max as well. Also i thimk im gonna switch to the slickshooter
i got the nickel, after seeing your color set up, i was like dam i wanna be more like thomas.
but really i wanted the hard alox at first then i saw how the nickel looked with the TR and liked it much better. hoping it is in today
Both are great. One of the advantages of the nickel is the ported arbor. The hard alox doesnt have it. Im not sure why.
The echo ion is a rock solid reel. I am downright abusive with gear and it's held up really nice. I'm sure the lamson is sweet, but think of all the beads and nail polish you could've bought....
i still have some left over change for glitter so its all good
ARE YOU READY FOR FISHING DANIELOCEAN
CAN YOU HANDLE IT
Heck yeah. I am getting out of work early today, and just discovered that The Avid Angler fly shop is literally along my new route home. Sooo, I am going to stop in there and say hello, and maybe get a couple things.
Hit the Stilly today. Seems everything is stupid low and clear. I would say the only thing good that came out of today was I got some really good spey practice. Thinking about saying fuck it and waiting for the weather to change and bring these rivers up. Gotta buy an intermediate tip as well. All in all I would love to simply write this day off the books.
We floated the sky from high bridge we were scraping rocks non stop

I'm watching mayweather canelo just to get pumped up for steelheading tomorrow
Lets hope so. I know we have some weather coming in tomorrow but I am referring to weather that will make the rivers get in better shape more frequently. I hear that the sky fishing way better when its higher up.
I have a feeling it is going to be your lucky day tomorrow. I strongly advice not swinging though. Seems all the potential water I saw on the stilly was nymphing water.
