Ya know I see your point. Honestly I was thinking out loud and thinking about the very concept of deserving a fish. I would say.the point when someone truly deserves to catch a fish is when they know how to do so. Again thinking out loud. Philosophising I suppose.

Man's gotta fish...went out on Saturday as well...nothing but a tree falling right in front of the truck. Went out on Sunday just to see the "damage" and to do some exploring (not fishing) on the NF Stilly. If was my first time to Fortson...cool place. Water level was ridiculous. Ended up buying my first fly tying gear instead.

What a dilemma! To fish all day tomorrow or to cut it short and watch the Hawks game. I am thinking fish all day and have the hawks game on the radio in my ear.

Fish all day, DVR, and don't look at the Internet until you watch the game?

That's no dilemma for a steelheader, the radio idea is money. I really enjoy listening to Steve hraibal call the game

Day on the water from 7:00 am to 7:00PM. One confirmed steelhead hooked in which ran down river about 50 yards, turned around, and ran back towards me. Then as I got the slack line taken care of the fish barrel rolled a few times and off she went. OH well. After than I experienced 4 more tugs, and two pinks landed. Whew. Goodnight.

I'd be curious to know how it was confirmed as a steelhead.

Saw it as it jumped out of the water and barrel rolled in front of me. Dang you guys like taking peoples thunder. Then it danced on top of the water like flipper and was wearing a "I'm a Steelhead" sweater.

We can be a hard crowd Daniel, both for stand up comedy and fishing reports.

Good going. Looks like you're on track. It's just a matter of keeping at it. And following my quality advice, of course.
