    7/8 update

The latest news is no news since the last news :clown:

Scott's, David's, and Mike's flies are in hand.

Trevor's, Hywel's, and mine are still pending. I mailed Hywel some red fox so he could tie some Reynards.

I am finally back at the vise. Tonight will tell whether I tie half a dozen Lanctots, or cop out and do something more familiar, like some GBS Matukas or Shewey's Spawning Purple.

    Updated update 7/9

Trevor's flies arrived in today's mail, so very spiffy pink Waddington prawns. I'll photograph & post later today at http://www.farnham.ws/AA Swap 2005.htm. If I get mine finished today I will psot them as well.

I talked to Hywel -- he is jammed up at work and his flies will be about 1 week late. That's fine w/me, as long as people let us know -- I know how it goes sometimes.

My flies are done. Hywel said he'd have his in this week (and I happen to know he is on vacation, so he ought to have time...)

Update: Hywel had to miss breakfast today, he will mail me his flies. I am going out of town for 9 days as of Saturday. If I don't have Hywel's flies by Thursday's mail, the swap flies will go out without them and I will redistribute the excess flies among everyone.

    Hey Guys

Thanks *very* much for your patience and understanding.

The flies, (the pattern shall remain a surprise) are boxed up and'll go in the mail tomorrow morning. I *pray* that they'll be in Stu's hands by Thursday...

Albeit late - you'll still get them, I promise!

    And they are off!

I got Hywel's flies today, some very nice Signal Light Marabou tubes (sans hooks).

Flies will go out in tomorrow's mail, thanks for participating!

The pink photo should be a Waddington Prawn by Trevor Wilson.
