I was wondering how to add a picture to my personal info so it displays on the board when I post. Also, I can't seem to find where/how to get to my personal information or profile. Please assist.
On the left of the main forum link bar there is a link for User CP. In there you can access your profile info and add an avatar photo.
Whats an avatar photo? How do I convert a jpeg to an avatar? You must get a ton of dumb questions like this. sorry.
Its just the name given for the photo next to your forum name when you post. A jpeg or gif will work as is, no need to convert it. The avatar section of the User CP (user control panel) allows you to choose from existing photos or to upload your own. It's not a dumb question if you haven't used a discussion forum before. I'll suggest that you look through the User CP area as it has a lot of options in there you wouldn't know are available otherwise. Chris
