BIG fish in the Cle Elum by Suncadia - what is it? I have seen many a salmon that far up the river. Judging by the decaying tail, I am guessing that that is what it is.
BIG fish in the Cle Elum by Suncadia - what is it? Judging by the size, I would guess that it was a sockeye. Attempts have been made to reintroduce sockeye into lake Cle Elum, and there are a small amount that return each year through the Cle Elum river. Could have been a king though.
BIG fish in the Cle Elum by Suncadia - what is it? Didn't even try to catch it. Figured it needed the rest of its energy to spawn. I only keep and eat salmon I catch in the salt. Never when I'm fly fishing (save hatchery steel) and never in the rivers.
